Happy National Catholic Schools Week, our annual celebration of what makes education at Saint Bede outstanding. We have a whole week of activities planned to celebrate the community we have built to educate tomorrow’s citizens and church leaders.
The theme of our celebration is
“Catholic Schools: Learn, Serve, Lead, Succeed.” The theme encompasses the core products and values that can be found in Catholic schools across the country. Not only we are teaching our students to become future servant leaders, faith- filled disciples and enriched citizens in our community, educators are growing with them. In our Catholic school we are all learners, servants and leaders. These shared qualities make our school succeed.
The theme also focuses on key elements of Catholic education: faith development, academic excellence and dedication to service. These elements set Catholic school apart from other educational options. They are why families make sacrifice to provide their children with a Catholic Education.
This Sunday Saint Bede School has an Open House from 10:00 A.M-1:00 P.M. Please come and visit. We are very proud of our students and their achievements. Please bring your friends and neighbors, particularly those who may consider Catholic education for their children. I am very grateful every day for the teachers, staff, parents and volunteers who make our school a success. To Fr. Tom Burke and all parishioners of Saint Bede Parish, thank you for your prayers, financial and spiritual support of our school. We are very blessed to be part of this fine parish and community,
God bless,
Sr. Daniela Bronka, CSFN St. Bede School Principal
