The Pittsburgh Foundation and The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County will host a Critical Needs Alert online giving event on August 1, 2023, to support basic needs and the safety net of essential human services in Allegheny and Westmoreland counties.

The ONE DAY Critical Needs Alert will help our entire community to get behind the 200+ nonprofits in Allegheny and Westmoreland counties serving vulnerable populations. St. Mary Magdalene Parish’s Social Ministries and Community Outreach are participating.

St. James Ministry Center, Holy Rosary Food Bank, and Holy Rosary Senior Center in Lincoln Lemington serve the East End communities of Pittsburgh.
 
Together we provide growing numbers of parishioners and neighbors with vital needs and services, including emergency rental and utility assistance and a food distribution program that provides food monthly, and on an emergency daily basis as well. 

We invite you to consider donating to our parish Social Ministries on Tuesday, August 1, between 8 am and Midnight
