Join a Small Discipleship Group (SDG) for Lent to study Fr. Bryan Massingale’s book “Racial Justice and the Catholic Church”
The U.S. Bishops have called on the church to “fight the evil of racism by educating ourselves, reflecting on (our) personal thoughts and actions, listening to the experience of those who have been affected by racism, and by developing and supporting programs that help repair the damages caused by racial discrimination” Open Wide Our Hearts 2018
The SDG will meet for 6 weeks with prayer, Lectio Divina, and discussion. The group will have up to 15 participants.
Wednesdays, beginning February 23, from 7 to 8:30 am
Fr. Massingale’s book is available online and in bookstores. Please contact Vicki at vsheridan68@gmail.com or Lois at lcampbell153@gmail.com for more information or if the cost of the book is prohibitive.
