Saturday, June 8, 2024, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PMAn 8-piece ensemble (octet) of Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra musicians will grace our sanctuary with dramatic, famous, and sublime instrumental music in a one-hour variety program of ten works!
The players include flutist Jennifer Steele, clarinetist Jack Howell, bassoonist David Sogg, trumpeter Neal Berntsen, trombonist Douglas Rosenthal, percussionist Jeremy Branson, violinist Dennis O’Boyle, and double bassist John Moore.
Rick Robinson will also be featured as the Narrator for Stravinsky’s dances from The Soldier’s Tale!
This program promises to be an eye-opening new experience to observe world-class
musicians up close and learn why classical music endures.
