Sharing the Light” the Saint Jude Speakers Series invites you to their next presentation on Thursday, February 24, at 7 pm, Sacred Heart Church, 310 Shady Avenue, 15206.  Their guest is Dr. Samuel J. Hazo, poet novelist, playwright and essayist. Dr. Hazo was named the first Poet Laureate of the State of Pennsylvania in 1993 by Governor Robert Casey, an honor  he held for 10 years. Over 6 decades Dr Hazo has earned an impressive collection of professional and civic distinctions and prizes as well as a dozen honorary degrees from universities around the world.
