The Wilkinsburg Sanctuary Project for Peace is holding a prayer motorcade through the Wilkinsburg community on Monday, January 18, starting at 1 pm. in the parking lot next to the Christian Church of Wilkinsburg at 748 Wallace Avenue. This is an inter-faith prayer vigil for peace, healing, justice, and unity in honor of Dr. Matin Luther King and all of the brave civil rights workers, including the late John Lewis. The route will take us to 4 other stops and all participants will be encouraged to wear masks and to keep social distancing.

If you are joining the motorcade, decorate your car with messages of peace. Coats, gloves and hats for children are being collected and will be donated to Better Living.
